Maple Grove maple sugar candies

susiejane Nov 12, 2013 10:07 AM

Adina posted about these last year and I keep thinking about them. From the time I was a student at UVM I have loved maple sugar and for many years now have searched for kosher maple sugar candies. However, I hesitate to spend about $ 35 for an 8 ounce box online. I did search some stores last year but did not find it anywhere, Does anyone know of a shop or market in the NYC or Long Island area that carries the candies? Some if the stores I had looked in were among those listed on the website.

And I also love Trader Joes granulated maple sugar which I use in hot cereal, crumb toppings, baked squash or whatever else I think of.

whenever I have been north I have looked but to no avail. and have had my kids search when they go skiing. Maple Grove does have their own store in Vermont, I think in St Johnsbury. .

Most if not all of Maple Grove products are OU certified . Yesterday they sent me a PDF with all their certified products listed . I tried to copy it here but somehow I seemed to lose the whole thing. I am not sure what they sell in their store. they may sell products from other manufacturers as well as their own.

I just came from Trader Joes and unfortunately the maple sugar has been discontinued. their delicious seasonal yummiest have started to come into stock, many of which are kosher.
