I've been gifted a certificate to the cheese shop. I'd like to put together a charcuterie platter for thanksgiving. Can anyone recommend some nice combinations?

Ask them, they are honest and they know their stuff. They will also suggest wine with each type of cheese that is chosen.

They are lovely people and will definitely help you (though I recommend going at an off hour...it gets crowded during lunch and late afternoon). They have luscious pates also.

And definitely try to avoid weekends. It's mobbed.

Mmmmm everything there is amazing. It depends on what you like - ditto the previous responders, but they're good about giving samples too as long as it isn't too crazy.

They have great wine options too!

          I would get some cheese.

I'm jealous! What a great gift! It is a wonderful shop and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. However, as the other poster warned, try to go on a weekday as weekends are mobbed.
