Our exploration of London via the buses continues with the 16, which ends in Cricklewood. Can anyone suggest a decent lunch place?

    It's not filled with options.

Depending on how much walking you want to do

Win Yip is a big chinese supermarket which also serves dim sum i believe.

Sushi Sey is quite well regarded if you walk down to Wilsden Green tube.

Lihiniya is a Sri Lankan place on the Broadway. I can't vouch for any of these places but if i was eating in the area i would probably go for one of them.

Lihiniya's pretty good. I had a decent meal there while the wife of the owner (and primary cook) was away and it was only alright. Not insanely stellar, but I know others on here have gone and found it to be amazing when the wife was in town.

I'd definitely give Lihiniya a shot, to be honest. The road it's on also has quite a few Iranian and Afghan places if I remember correctly.

Lihiniya was shut, unfortunately - perhaps it's only open evenings? We ended up in an OK Turkish café, Kebab 49 I think. Quite fresh, quite tasty, big portions.
