Christmas in Copenhagen

ogiovetti Nov 10, 2013 08:00 AM

My husband and I are going to be in Copenhagen over Christmas and while it seems like a lot of the places we were interested in trying are closed for that week, we're wondering what those who are/have been there would recommend. We're especially looking for something for Christmas proper. Any recommendations? We're less interested in steakhouses (like MASH) or other cuisines that we can just as easily grab in New York, but are mostly open to anything.

We will be there the week before you, so I can let you know how we make out.

Seems like the boards have lived Fiskebarren, AOC and Aamanns; but I am open to any ideas you have heard

Thanks, Ed! We've booked Aamanns for lunch on the 26th (our last meal in CPH before heading to Helsinki) SALT for dinner on the 25th and Nimb for lunch on the 24th. We'll most likely play the rest by ear but look forward to hearing what you find out. Everything sounds delicious so we're super-excited.
