The new Spring book, written and illustrated by Daniel Rose with Sophie Brissaud, is out.

It arrived yesterday at the ex-Boutique and is available in Engsich [sic] and French at Spring.

And yes I have a conflict of interest in seeing it appear (not financial, just emotional).

Whoopee. The book was several years in the making. Glad its birth is behind us and all the protagonists. Can't wait to read it.

Not sure how I missed this thread! I remember meeting Sophie at Spring when we were there for lunch in 2011 where she told us that she was working on this book. Congratulations, Sophie (and Daniel). We'll make sure we pick up a copy in April.

Great news -- we will be happy to see it. (We have heard of it and have been waiting for quite a while.) And many congrats, Ptipois! -- Jake (& Mo!)

        Very cool! Congratulations, Sophie.

She also has a big article in this month's Food Arts (magazine for the trade) about the updating of French cuisine. I haven't had a chance to sit down with the article yet, but looking forward to it. There's also a photo of her. :)
