I will be in Dallas soon on business and was thinking of going to IL Mulino.
As I recall, there was a mixed bag of reviews in the papers and on this board.
What is the current state of the art?
Thanks for your insights.

Il Mulino is still serving great Italian food in a very nice atmosphere. The service is the best in Dallas. My favorite dishes are rack of lamb (Colorado lamb) and the branzino (Med. sea bass) with garlic and rosemary. Try the bolognese sauce, its the best I have ever had. I believe the price you pay is apprpriate for the service, free anti pasto, the portion sizes, quality of food and the atmosphere

Il Mulino has indeed achieved unique status for a restaurant. In Dallas, it is now commonly held that it is impolite to talk about religion, politics or Il Mulino without police protection.

To answer your question, unfortunately, to my knowledge, nothing has changed significantly at Il Mulino.
