Seville recommendations

i am just starting my research. heading to sevilla on Nov 30 and will be getting in late afternoon. after the flight to Madrid and the train i doubt we will want to do much more than check into our hotel and find someplace within walking distance for dinner. we are staying at the Alfanso. i would appreciate yr suggestions. we are in Seville for 3 nites.

    I'd recommend Contenedor on c/ San Luis - it's a taxi ride from the Alfonso (or a 25 minute walk) but well worth it - it's my favorite spot in Sevilla. Best to make a reservation.

      Do you mean the Alfonso ?
      If so, you are verye near the great tapas bar San Telmo.
      La Bodega is also very good. The walk is slightly longer, 15 minutes, but through lovely streets in the barrio Santa Cruz.

        You might try Casablanca or even Enrique Becerra--not too far from there and I believe both of them openn on the early side; EB was open when we came at 7:30 one evening. But in general, most of our favorites were a bit of a walk from that hotel.
