Kuala Lumpur - Kheng Heong Seafood Restaurant (瓊香海鲜饭店) @ Robson Heights

Kheng Heong restaurant has been around since 1954 - it started off as a Hainanese restaurant, but went through various incarnations and location changes - the last being in Brickfields before it moved to its current premise here in Robson Heights.
What we ordered this evening:
- Baked crab rice: stir-fried, caramelised crab baked atop rice. One of the specialty dishes here but I found it over-priced and nowhere as good as the rendition at Siu Siu Restaurant just up the street (http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/873035) which had more depth of flavour, besides a larger meatier crab for the same price.
- Stir-fried baby Romaine lettuce ("yau mak") with garlic pips: it was a simple, light dish, but the quality of greens used here was pretty suspect.
- Boxing chicken: chicken drumettes marinated in fish sauce and golden crisp-fried. It's supposed to be one of the restaurant's signature dishes, but didn't quite bowl me over.
Overall, quite a let-down for the restaurant which I'd heard so much about.
