Where to eat in Newport?

Going to Newport for several days at the end of the month. In the past, I have enjoyed eating at Georgies and the Chowder Bowl, would like to avoid Mo's. Any recommendations for seafood, or asian cuisine?

Definitely hit Local Ocean down on the bay front. Quality ingredients, very fresh, best seafood in town in my opinion.

        Totally agree about Local Ocean.
Also: shockingly good Chinese food. Couldn't believe Newport could have something this good. http://www.kammeng.com/
And the owner will play piano for you.

Interesting! The menu doesn't look like your typical Chinese joint. I've driven by there hundreds of times and never thought to stop. Will have to give it a try!

It's been a little while, and reading through yelp reviews it has been hit or miss... but I loved the meal I had at Sharks Seafood Bar. Our waitress was a piece of work and I loved every moment.

On our night the ciopinno was on point. Hmm, hungry now.
