Dinner on Christmas Day

We'll be flying into Portland on Christmas Day and hoping to eat out that night. Any suggestions on places that are both delicious and open on Christmas Day?

Off the top of my head, no, but I would do a scan on Open Table (make sure you narrow it down to downtown PDX).

Also, it would probably help if you research this board to make a list of what you might be interested in then compare that with what is on Open Table.

Eater PDX recently published a list of restaurants available on Thanksgiving. They may do the same as Christmas approaches.

I'd start with the better restaurants in hotels first - such as:

      Clyde Common - The Ace
      Imperial - Hotel Lucia
      Urban Farmer/Departure - The Nines

There's also the Heathman Hotel's dining room/restaurant (no spearate name).

Here's a list from another site from last year you can call some of these places and ask too. Food Dude (the owner of that site) will probably do another one for this year, but he's just up to Thanksgiving, not Xmas yet: http://portlandfoodanddrink.com/chris...
