TCtoothpick Nov 3, 2013 06:19 PM

If you had a to chose your last meal EVER made by a fast food chain, what would it be?

Appetizer: the peas at Nando's (but is it fast food?)

Main: I can't seem to recall the name, but it was a quality burger (perhaps limited time) at a chain in Bloomington, MN, USA. The hamburger bun had a bunch of things going on, and the burger might've had fried onions.

        Desert: Atacama

A place called Nando's? Funny that -- "nando" in Japanese means a storage closet.

Is this how you lost 40 pounds?
Or, have things changed in Summerlin?
I just hope you are having fun, buddy!

It's how I put back the 40+ pounds, Veg but, I figure WTF; why not go out in a blaze of gluttony.

I think I could eat my weight in JitB tacos….which would probably end up being my last meal ever.

            1. SaraAshley Jan 14, 2014 12:08 PM

Popeyes!! Spicy chicken, biscuits and fries! I have no idea what desserts they offer, but that would be an after thought anyways. If I can travel, I'll go to Chikfila and pick up a vanilla milk shake for dessert.

Those are popular last meals at the death row prison in Huntsville, TX. They used to do a pretty cool annual prisoner rodeo there.

Just coincidence. But I prefer their red beans and rice to their fries. Not Huntsville, Popeyes.

I've heard great things about their red beans rice, but don't think I've ever had them. I'm not nearly as much of a rice and beans gal as I am a fries gal.

And I like to order fries everywhere. I'm getting better at not actually doing it ALL the time anymore, but if an entree I order in a restaurant is served with any starch other than fries, I am pretty tempted to swap it out.

Same here, no need to think about it.

Popeye's spicy chicken, cajun fries, and the biscuits for dessert, with real honey though, and not that flavored corn syrup they have.

Honestly, I think my favorite thing at Primanti is probably the Deluxe Double Egg.

It's sort of like McDonald's Egg McMuffin's bigger, badder evil adopted twin.

If I'm allowed to travel between different places, I'll take:

                                  McD's Big Mac

                                          Side - egg rolls
main - tacos. lots and lots of tacos

                                                I would want the following:

KFC fried chicken, mashed potatoes w gravy and cole slaw.

I believe the question was geared towards items from one fast food establishment, not a smorgasbord of various fast food items from different establishment.

I'm sorry, you FAIL. You must now continue to live a long and healthy life!

I would probably agree with you on the KFC. I do enjoy their chicken, original recipe and their cole slaw is actually pretty good too. I don't care for the mashed potato's or their vile mac n cheese. Oh, the baked beans aren't too bad either!

Yeah the mashed potatoes aren't the best...but it's got that cafeteria comfort for me. I genuinely love their gravy, but then I love all gravy.

Their cole slaw is just effin great with that greasy chicken though! Original recipe for me too.

Since I will be facing this situation in the coming months, I have to say it is very difficult. F of F is always a good thing, but it has been 2 years since I had In-n-Out, so that might be good. But then there is always Popeye's chicken. Hmmm, tough decisions.
