BBQ suggestions near Addison area

MissMoose Nov 3, 2013 11:11 AM

In town for business from the Northeast. Please help us find. BBQ place that we can go home and dream about in the cold of winter.
We can only make it work for dinner, but we do have a car.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hard 8 in Coppell is a pretty easy drive from Addison.

I never made it to the wait-in-line or the close-early places, after I found Hard 8 I quit lookin'. Good brisket.

Big Al's Smokehouse BBQ on Inwood Road just south of Lemmon Avenue is the best BBQ I know of that's OPEN FOR DINNER.
The very best BBQ joints in Dallas usually close about 3:00PM.

But Big Al's will keep up with the rest of them. Their pork ribs maybe the best in town! But skip their beef ribs. And, as long as you ask for "moist" or fatty brisket you'll be good to go. Their sausage is very good as well. Great fresh sides and, free soft serve ice cream is a plus.
