on maunakea st next to pho 97.

$8.50 got me a veggie lasagne which was in a small foil pan. it was 3/4" thick, about 2 pieces worth, but i could have devoured a sheet of it. tasty stuff. there was a mixture of cheese, baked lasagne pasta, squash, and eggplant.

also came with a very small handful of field greens and half of a mini italian loaf of bread.

it's the best italian in the neighborhood. for the price, i think the portion feels small, but it's just because the food is so damn good you want to eat more. i ate 3/4 of it for lunch and the rest for dinner with a few slices of portugues sausage and half a long john and wasn't suffering from hunger pangs, but i could have easily eaten five of the small pans for just lunch.

Whoa...Cafe 8 1/2 has a Lasagna Special occasionally that puts BF (which we eat at every few months) to shame..
