Red rice... where do you buy?

chow_rk Nov 2, 2013 10:26 PM

After learning about the health benefits of Red rice... I wanted to buy it, but could not find at local stores (& even Amazon)!
So, wondering where those of you who eat Red rice buy from?
Also, what are approximate rates?

Many thanks!

I just checked Amazon and there's a pile of red rices.. Himalayan, Bhutanese, Thai... are you looking for something more specific/outside that range?

(And when I read your post, I realized I've never had red rice! So now I need to order some -- or I think I've seen it at Whole Foods. Cool -- something new to try!)

If you have a local Asian market, try there first -- more affordable than Whole Foods.

The only red rice I know is Camargue red rice - always available at my local supermarket from the Merchant Gourmet range.

By the by, the OP may wish to ask the mods to correct the typo in the thread title.

Whole Foods sells it. They even have their house brand version of it (365 brand).
