wench31 Nov 2, 2013 06:46 PM

Drove by this place today and saw that it finally opened. It's located at the Golden Farmers Market. Looks good! There are tables outside for dining.

6902 US Hwy 9 Howell, NJ 07731

Here's the menu:

LOL Korean bulgogi cheesesteaks! Oh, and I find the buffalo wings amusing as well. :) Still, a decent addition to the area, if the food is good. I'll check it out one of these days.

It looks good. There were some Korean old ladies hovering around. But, weather is getting cold. Who would want to sit out there to eat? It's takeout for me!

So, I went here today for a takeout lunch. The girl who was working there told me that if I liked spicy food, then I would like the Spicy Chicken with Potatoes and veggies. I got it along with rice on the side. It was supposed to be an extra charge but they said it was on the house. I loved it! It wasn't as hot and spicy as promised but it was still good. AND the lunch portion was $5.95!
Place is cute. They have an outdoor kitchen with seating on the outside. I am going to attempt to upload some pictures of their food display. Service was friendly but a bit pushy.

Could someone scan and post a readable menu for this place?

Thanks! I'm not taking one for the team. I love Korean food and am a sucker for it! If I see any form of it opening anywhere, I'm there. :)

The staff was very friendly, the food, fresh and decent portion for the price. Definitely take-out material, as the only seating is outside, brrrr. I do like my Korean on the spicy (or a lot spicy) side. I found it to be somewhat sweet to me. They dropped a few samples into our bag (MoDumJun and ChapChe), which I would definitely order next time I am there.

Forgot to upload photos with my last comments! Oops! These are pictures of their food display and my lunch with rice on the side. Delish!

Does this place have the "cook your own" charcoal pits by chance? (for dinners obviously)

This BBQ place is built as an extension outside as part of the Farmers Market. The "kitchen" is outside and it's behind a metal wire built facade.(not sure how to describe it, sorry!) You walk up to the cashier, who isn't behind it and place your order and you can watch your order being cooked. There are picnic tables outside with a lovely view of the parking lot and the closed Japanese restaurant across the way. Personally, I don't like eating outside because it's either cold or buggy. I rather bring it back home or eat it in the car. :)

I have a question about this place is the food made fresh?

Thanks for mentioning this place...we went after the Blueclaws game and everything was amazing. The woman at the register was very sweet and friendly. She made a point of saying the food was "Korean, real Korean." We ordered the #1 Beef Bulgogi, #3 Chicken Bulgogi and the #4 Beef Kalbi....our favorite out of the three. She also gave me daughter a small bowl to try of the ChapChe. It didn't look impressive at first, but it was surprisingly good....def something I'd order a big bowl of the next time we go. She also brought over three bowls of seaweed soup, which were okay, and some kimchi which was hot but not so hot that my daughter couldn't eat it. All of that with a large soda came to around $29 and we had leftovers.

I will say the farmers market it's attached to had some good buys and a lot of it looked much fresher than my local market.

Thanks again for the heads up!
