Sparkling water at TJ's

Does anybody know if Trader Joe's Sparkling Water and Spring Water plastic bottles contain BPA, they assured me they don;t but I don;t know if I can believe them

  1. If you don't believe what TJ's says, then I don't see how you can shop there.

    1. The recycling symbol in #1 PETE, same as nearly every other `1 time use` drink bottle on the market. I don't think that has ever had BPA.

BPA was mainly associated with Lexan/polycarbonate, a much stronger hard plastic. For years backpackers (and later students) used Nalgene bottles (originally lab ware). They eliminated BPA from that type of bottle about 5 years ago.
