Boiling time for Peewee sized eggs

I got lucky and was able to get those cute peewee sized eggs at the local farm. I want to boil them until the yolks are barely done, but not sure how long since they're so tiny compared to regular eggs. Egg cooking wisdom will be greatly appreciated.

  1. What are peewee eggs? If you are talking about quail eggs, I think three minutes would be long enough for a barely done yolk. But I'm not the best authority since on the rare occasions we get quail eggs we usually do them sunny side up.

If this is some other kind of egg, of course I have no idea.

    1. I got some bantam hen eggs at the FM and used to make mini-deviled eggs. I boiled for 4 minutes and egg was on the softish side which worked well for my purposes.

      1. Thanks for the input. I think I will try a 3 1/2 minute boil since the peewees are larger than a quail egg and I think smaller than bantam eggs.

Eggs are graded peewee when they weigh less than a size small egg.
