Petsi Pies new (proposed) location in East Cambridge

There's a posting on the Cambridge city website for a licensing hearing stating that Petsi Pie wants to open a location seating 15-20 people at 441 Cambridge Street. Does anyone know if this will be a cafe (similar to Putnam Ave) or something closer to their Beacon Street location? I don't know when they will get kicked out of Putnam Ave (still annoyed with Darwin's about that).

        Thanks.

Ugh...I am so sick of the apathy of Darwin's staff, which bleeds over into the food. The food at Darwin's tastes of apathy.

That would mean pies added to my Market Basket, Mayflower Poultry, New Deal fish runs. That is a very useful area.

oh gosh yes - new deal, court house, mayflower, royale bakery, and now petsi's - one of my favorite shopping areas goes up another notch

Royale Bakery? I am not much of a bakery person, but what do you like here? Some of my housemates might enjoy it if I brought home a treat or two on occasion.

We like the Italian strawberry cream cake: like a rolled sponge cake with strawberries and cream tucked inside. I buy my cannoli shells there as well, though I think these come from a central baking source used by most of the Italian bakeries. My husband has been known to devour a baba au rhum but they are a bit much for me.

Nice news. That's where RJ Gourmet was. Not too many seats, but it is a nice space and would be a great addition to the area.

Great news! Was so sad about RJ. Very small though, maybe half the size of the Putnam St. location.
