$67 for roasted chicken. $16 for beet salad. Totally, absolutely reasonable. Small portions for high prices, but I'm glad it was good enough to garner two stars for food boring as paper clips, excuse me, I mean comforting and familiar food.

I have to agree with the content and spirit of pookipichu's take. the food at hearth was comforting, pleasant and homey a decade ago. and the prices were only slightly off putting. now that they've gone into the usurious range, visions of boston market dance in my head. no, the food hasn't gone downhill, but it hasn't gone uphill either.

I forget what the outlet was -- Spy, perhaps? -- but a while back, reviews of CDs/films weren't star-driven, but price driven, as in this movie was worth $6.18, this one $9.25. I had that roast chicken in 2011. it was worth $40 tops.
