Ideas for a family friendly special occasion spot for MIL's 70th birthday in Jan?

We are trying to plan an evening for my MIL's 70th birthday that's special, not "another boring dinner.". However, I know my MIL will want the grandkids included in the fun. They range in age from 15-5 years old. ( The baby is being left home)
I thought about a private cooking event for all of us at ICE or something, but I don't know if they have an age limit.

Can you guys help me out??? My FIL is counting on me to come up with something great!

Oh thank you, Valerie. I forgot to add that. We will be at least 14 but could be a few more. Maybe 16-18 total?

Any reason he can't make/have a marinara pizza?

I am told he won't eat pizza. Its not worth me having a to-do about it. Pity, though...

Another solution would be to buy/bring a non dairy cheese like Daiya for your nephew's pizza...

Since ICE offers classes for kids and teens, I bet they have instructors who would be great for a private family event. (My friends still talk about my own birthday party there some years ago, but no kids that night. )

UPDATE: Last night "the event" and we did a family dinner for 15 ( 9 adults, 5 teens, and one 5 year old) at the ICE, as had been suggested by fellow CH'rs. It was a complete success and so much fun, especially for the kids. The food was great and the entire staff was top notch. We all enjoyed eating all the things we made together. Would highly recommend!!!!!!
