Good place for a breakfast meeting?

thegreenfish Oct 29, 2013 06:52 AM

I'm looking to set up a breakfast meeting for my boss close to her hotel--The Residence Inn on 148 E 48TH STREET. I don't know the area well and all suggestions are welcome! The place needs to be relatively quiet and comfortable. Thank you in advance!

The Hyatt 48 Lex has a great breakfast and is right there, tables are big and have space so you can have a conversation - if she needs a "power scene" - The Brasserie is on 100 E 53rd street -

Or THE Power Breakfast - Loews Regency Hotel.

If going more downscale, there's a Le Pain Quotidien (perfectly fine chain) on 3rd Ave and 46th street, 708 3rd Avenue

Cafe Centro in the MetLife Building at Park Ave and E. 45th.

Thank you all for your suggestions! I actually made her reservations at the Garden in the Four Seasons, it's only about 9 clocks from her hotel. I'll keep all these suggestions for next time though. Thanks again!

If she's wearing high heels, those 9 blocks can be pretty long. Is there still time to reconsider the multiple suggestions others gave you here?

I'm sure a woman who has business meetings in Manhattan can figure out how to comfortably get to her breakfast. I have about 7 meetings throughout Manhattan every week and I have great footwear. And, oh, common sense.

            She'll be fine, thegreenfish.
