Anyone else in London here? Novellino

So we've been here about two months. It's great in so many ways and our Jewish life has been great, if not yet there in terms of chow (though PITA has been a great find).

Next week is our first real night out for a nice kosher meal in London. Our school is having a parents' dinner at Novellino. I'm a dairy restaurant skeptic--I am not shy about admitting to eating "milchig out"--so I'm hoping to get some recommendations for Novellino. And if you're here in London, say hi!

Thanks!

  1. Glad you're liking LDN. My family are all there - I'll ask them about Novellino's and any other recommendations. Whereabouts are you living?

We are in Hampstead on the west side of Finchley Rd so much closer to West Hampstead.

        Great place to be.

So, according to my brother - Best is the kitchen in edgware

        Then kaifeng (chinese)

apparently the bevis marks restaurant and 1701 are excellent.

re: novellino - he says It's okay. Always busy. food supposed to be average, but he hasn't been for months.

Kaifeng has been recommended by lots. Will definitely get there.

First I've heard of The Kitchen. Getting to Edgeware is a bit tricky--no car--but I guess it's worth it for the best! Maybe we have to double date with friends with a car. :-)

          Thanks!
