Best Thai Takeout in Berkeley? Need your help

Hello all,

Want to celebrate my birthday on Wed by picking up great thai takeout and eat at home with family and need your guidance!

I live in north/west Berkeley so can go anywhere from 4th street up to Shattuck but do not want to cross university towards the south.

Some of my favorite dishes are:
spicy chicken wings (not dripping with grease)
stuffed chicken wings
red and yello curry (with lots of veggies)
roasted duck
green beans

  1. Ran Kanom is exponentially better than anything in town. If you call ahead she can probably make anything you like.

I can second that place: it's quick, easy, and tasty.

I haven't found them open my last 2 trips to mall. Do you have an idea of their hours.

I always go there for lunch, so they are at least open during weekdays around lunchtime...

Sabuy Sabuy II's chicken wings are da bomb. They often (but not always?) have duck.

Their FB page doesn't have hours; and I couldn't get access a website.

And from Yelp (for what it's worth):
            Mon-Fri 11 am - 8 pm
            Sat-Sun 11 am - 9 pm

Best spicy Thai chicken wings in the Bay Area!

I think they cook them twice?...first roasted then quickly fried.

Lots of heat, garlic and super sauce.

        Definitely not greasy.
