Best food truck food at the Treasure Island Flea Market?

The FM is held the last weekend of every month, and we went yesterday. Usual great selection of eccentric stuff - definitely recommend. They also have a line-up of food trucks, and I was wondering what is recommended. It's a little overwhelming because there are so many choices. Thanks!

  1. Here's a link to the market's food truck page, if that helps people know which ones you're talking about.!e...

Thanks - that does help. Have you tried the food from any of these trucks - either at TI or elsewhere?

          Report from April:

Old World Food truck keeps eluding me, but I loved a pop-up they did a few years back

Rib Whip's defunct brick and mortar in the Marina served better ribs than what I recently had at their truck in the Haight

      2. highly recommended:
-curry up now: chicken tikka masala burrito
-Frozen Kustard-distinct unique flavors, ice cream like.
-Adam's Grub Truck-unique sammie offerings, mostly fried.
-the chairman: not a fav but most people like it.

        so so:
-hapa sf: filipino fast food, fresh meat but salty
-little green cyclo/an the go: not everything on the menu is fab. just some items. didn't try them all.
-yumsilog: premade filipino food with egg toppings.
-burr eatery: artisan made burritos (from scratch)
small and pricey (4 when i had it)
        -sam's: just the chowder
-old world food truck: eastern european.jewish soul food : schnitzel was pretty good.

        -lots of misses, overpriced..

If you order the schnitzel at Old World, make sure you get it with the "smear" - which I believe is their version of chopped chicken livers - it makes the sandwich!

        2. Not listed on the FM's site, but I recently read an article about
Cannoli Corleone in Modesto that has sold at Treasure Island. Wonder if anyone has tried the cannoli?
