Time for the yearly visit back up to Edmonton. Anything new on the horizon to get excited about. Probably have time for a dinner out and a brunch or breakfast.

Two new spots just opened recently: Woodwork and Parlour, I will be trying both spots after Christmas!

Canteen is good, but noise level is ridiculous. Will not go back until that improves.

I have been to Canteen many times and have not had an issue with the noise while I have been there, but in any case:

Another newish spot is Tavern 1903 in the old-new Alberta Hotel. Folks involved are from the Hardware Grill.

Newest good spot for dinner would be RGE RD, used to be Blue Pear

I loved Blue Pear. Menu looks very interesting for Rge Rd. Might have to try it.

Anything on the middle range price wise that is new (in the last couple years!)

My two favourite mid range places are the common and three boars. Both fairly new.

I would suggest The Marc, Corso 32, & Tres Carnales

Have been to the first 2, the third is always on the list but we rarely end up eating out for lunch or that casual of a dinner

Canteen might be a good option for lunch (same people that run Red Ox Inn).

I really enjoyed Rge Rd for dinner. If you are up for being surprised, I recommend the Rge Rd Trip for surprise courses.
