I haven't been back to both in a while but woodlot and acadia seems to fit in the bill

Woodlot? I don't know if it's really hip, though.

Although it can tend to be somewhat loud, Bar Isabel. This is coming from someone who hates loud restaurants, and I find BI very tolerable.

Going there early would be even better.

Woodlot and Acadia would also be good choices, as mentioned - but haven't been to Acadia since their last Chef left.

All front-of-house and back-of-house staff left Acadia.
Essentially it's a completely new restaurant, so all previous experiences are irrelevant.
Agree with Bar Isabel. Noisy but still tolerable (and very crowded).

Ahhhh... baby duty I would assume then! I'm sure that's keeping him rather busy.

A little bit of that, and a little bit of ambition, from what I can tell. :)

You're right - the owners remain.
I was too sloppy - I've seen the ex-servers at various other places.

If BI is too busy or loud, there's The Huntsman Tavern down the street. I haven't been yet, but my friends are raving about it. I''ll probably go in the next week or two.
