Seeking fermented garlic recipe

I would like to make some fermented garlic. I believe that it is originally Korean but I may be wrong. I understand it involves sealing garlic bulbs in a jar and then fermenting it for a number of days. I wanted to get some hints on temperature, how long to ferment for and ideas that anyone has about how to maintain the temperature for an extended period of time. Can anyone help?
