Orlando/Lake BV local food, craft cocktails and good coffee

my friend and i are in town until Sunday for a conference from NYC and Connecticut and in need of small/locavore, non-corporate breakfast, dinner and evening activity options. We're both in our early 30's and appreciate craft cocktails, farm to table and unique/secret local places. We have a rental car and willing to go on food and drink adventures.

Much thanks!

Anastasia

The Pharmacy has gone downhill. Stick with the latter 3 options.

I haven't been to The Pharmacy yet (because it's far from me and I don't drink), but it would be a perfect place for you: known for craft cocktails, new and hip, and quite literally secret and unique -- it's based on an old-fashioned speakeasy, and supposedly the food is quite good too. It's in the Dr. Phillips area, so you'd get off I-4 on exit 74 for Sand Lake Road.

You'll also want to visit these places for incredible food and more good cocktails, although they'll be further drives for you:

The Ravenous Pig (a favorite on Chowhound and among Orlando residents in general, located in Winter Park):

The Cask and Larder (a classy Southern restaurant owned and operated by the same people, also in Winter Park):

The Rusty Spoon (in downtown Orlando, the one that places the most emphasis on farm-to-table):
