Celebrating a milestone birthday - Cuban restaurant suggestions?

We are celebrating my daughter's 30th birthday this Saturday and are looking for a fun place with good Cuban food. I've only been to 90 Miles, which is good, but am wondering if they are any other suggestions?

I had a birthday party at Cafe Laguardia years ago. I think it was good . . . we were really drunk ;-) It was really fun if the place is still there.

I agree. Laguardia is a fun place. And the food is good. There are a couple of other Cuban restaurants in the neighborhood, but I like it best.

LaGuardia was in our regular rotation years ago but the food quality fell off dramatically and we stopped going. I'd be reckless in any recommendation now because it has been a few years since we were last there but by then it was just an "average" spot; nowhere near the experience it was a decade or so ago.

That's possible. I recently read that management has changed and have not been there in a few years. Too bad. I liked the place.
