Can I use refridgerated pie dough to make Natchitoches meat pies???
I am totally intimidated when it comes to any kind of baking let alone making my own dough for the pies.
I used to make them with the goya discs but am not privvy to them here,no one carries the product, so I thought the store bought pie dough might work or the store bought biscuits,can anyone give me some advice on this????
I think the pie dough you are referring to is the rolled up dough in the refrigerated case. The only problem is the dough is already rolled out into a ten inch circle.
Instead of refrigerated, go to the freezer section and get Pappy's Pie Dough. It only needs to be thawed and you can roll out any size pieces you would like to use for your empanadas.
