If you are ever down by Cape Girardeau, in Pocahontas, Mo-Do not miss the Pie Safe Bakery and Cafe

We came across the Pie Safe when were driving down 61 hwy but they were closed. We were fortunate enough to be able to stop back by here for breakfast on another trip. Bacon and eggs were never so good as they were with home made whole wheat bread for toast with home made preserves. We had to get a piece of apple pie to go. I am a total pie snob and this pie is perfect in all things. It is freshly made and perfectly done. The crust was light and flaky and had the perfect saltiness that so perfectly compliments the filling. In order to keep things fresh, the amount of food prepared daily is limited. You can order a pie in advance. The hours are limited Wed-Sat 6-2 and open Fri until 7

Haha! It is Mo., the abbreviation for Missouri and Do is part of the sentence,"Do not miss the Pie Safe Bakery and Cafe." I was trying to cut down on the amount of spaces used in the title as I wasn't sure when it would cut me off. I meant to go back and add the right punctuation, but forgot to do that before I posted it. Sorry if it was confusing.
