austin bbq again

well, it's the time of year i always go to austin for bbq. anything new happen in the last year? my best discovery last year was John Muellers. the meat and hot sauce were great. anything new happening? i have never been to Blacks, so that's on this year's list. i'm willing to travel an hour.

any help appreciated as always!!

The only thing I can think of is that Ben, of Ben's Longbranch BBQ has returned to run the place after a few years off. I have not been there yet, but it is located on E.11th, just a blck east of I-35.
