Mercato di Campagna Amica del Circo Massimo

Went today and loved it. Fell in after putting my hand in the mouth in the lupa and bought lots. Grapes and tomatoes, cheese, and vacuumed packed sausages and pancetta that I hope make it back home. Friendly vendors, small and very doable, already finished the fruit and cheese. Wish I could bring home the olive oil, meats, and more cheese. A perfect stop between here and there, or the forum and the ghetto!
And the kale? Fabulous looking!

      Where I shop every week!
It's located on Via San Teodoro, just down from Circo Massimo. They also serve lunch, if you get there early enough. They set up picnic tables in the back courtyard.

It's still open only on weekends right?

I didn't realize that it was open so late on Saturdays. That's great!
