Husk for lunch
Went to Husk with an out-of-town guest for lunch yesterday. Had pork belly sandwich with jalapeno aioli and cabbage slaw.
I only have one word: da-yum. Maybe that's two words.
It was fantastic and a deal-and-a-half at 12 bucks.
I didn't dissect it. It was in a beautiful brioche bun that was perfectly cooked and colored.
The meat had a smokey taste, but I couldn't swear that it came out of a smoker. Typical meat-to-fat ratio -- very tender. Left an aftertaste of pulled pork. Yum!
I'm ready to do it again right now.
