My Doce Minho Secret Revealed

Vinnie Vidimangi Oct 16, 2013 04:22 PM

Dufferin south of Eglinton. See previous posts.

Delicious pastries; the best Portuguese pastry bakery that I have been in. A lot of yeast baking. Not too sweet. None of this tarted up fake French stuff.
Between 8.30pm and 9pm they bag up the leftovers from the day, six to eight pieces in a bag. Ten to $13 worth of baking for $3.
Combines my two favourite hobbies- eating and practicing thrift.
I binge.

I need to lose weight.
Please save me from myself.
Easy parking by the side.

I love this place. We had it high on our bakery tour itin a few years back. Best Natas in the city AFAIC.

I think the ones at Seara and sometimes Caldense give them a run for their money, but they're definitely right there at the top. It's not often I venture uptown these days, but when I do, I seem to find myself accidentally stopping in there on the way home. It was brutal when it was on the way home from my gym. Totally defeated the purpose of going to the gym.

No Jacq, Call it balance. It's a much better way of looking at it.
