Looks Like Seasons 52 Will be Part of new Seaport Village Dining

Looks like the Seasons 52 chain will be part of the new development across from the Manchester Hyatt, joining Cheesecake Factory and Pizzeria Mozza. Drove by this morning and noticed an advertisement.

  1. just found out that Eddie V's and Puesto will be part of that project as well--sorry if this is old news, but that's the first I heard of these 2 places that have been successful in La Jolla...would be nice if the Eddie V's at Seaport also has a jazz lounge.

Puesto...unimpressed...there is a headline on the site that states "PUESTO AT HEADQUARTERS VOTED MOST ANTICIPATED RESTAURANT OPENING IN SAN DIEGO"...somewhere there is a Mozza laughing...
aside from this, and an unfortunate Cheesecake "anchor", really looking forward to this San Diego Bay centerpiece opening...I hope it has a Ferry Bldg/Pike's feel...

Looks like opening day for this new 'food court' will be November 18.

By the way, across the street at the Embassy Suites they are getting ready to open a Dunkin Donuts....not sure of the exact opening date and I am guessing it will occupy the former Starbucks spot within the hotel.

      2. The name "Seasons 52" does not inspire confidence. Sounds like "Around the World in 80 Plates," from the show Portlandia.

Seasons 52 is part of the Darden empire- it's actually surprisingly good and healthy.

Eddie V's is also Darden chain so they very well may have gotten a lease deal with two places in the complex

I have liked the few items I have eaten at Eddie V's in La Jolla, not to mention the killer ocean view and live jazz....hopefully, they will have live entertainment at the Seaport Village location as well.

@chet Healthy yes...surprisingly good...umm if you like all of your foods steamed with no added seasoning I guess.

That hasn't been my experience the last few times I've eaten at Seasons 52- the food didn't wow me, but it was certainly better than a lot of other chains and healthier too.

            2. Seasons 52 is like Cheesecake Factory on a spa diet.
