I need a cool place to have lunch in Mid-town, not too upscale but a little, maybe a little edgy for a business lunch with Parisian women who are in the luxury fashion industry....GO!

Thanks, both great options. The NoMad is now on my personal places to go list.

do you think Ma Peche is loud?

Where in Midtown? How far are you willing to travel?

What's your budget, per person, before tax, tip, wine/drinks?

When is this lunch? Is this for TODAY?

      How large is your party?

        -50s and 5th preferred
-we will likely not drink, willing to spend $50-60 per person plus tax and tip but prefer less so not to seem to pretentious
        -lunch is Tuesday the 29th
        -4 stylish women
        -not too loud

I like the look of ABC kitchen but too far downtown.
        Would prefer a newer restaurant.

The two suggestions above are great would like to consider a couple more maybe a little less pricey/stuffy

Bar Room at the Modern, Quality Italian, Quality Meats would be closer. Bar Room does get a bit loud.

The Breslin and the John Dory at the Ace Hotel are right by the NoMad, but neither take reservations (unless you're staying at the Ace). It shouldn't be too bad on a weekday but with the additional travel, you might be taking a longish lunch.

You should definitely consider Ma Peche. I frequently have lunch at Ma Peche, and the typical crowd is in fashion/music/publishing/tech/advertising. I think your guests would love it. Plus Ma Peche is a David Chang restaurant which might impress your guests. Definitely not too loud.

Vitae is cheaper. Loud upstairs; downstairs seating better.

          Aquavit
