The Brook Tavern (Saratoga) - anyone been?

I keep hearing good things about The Brook Tavern (former The Turf Club location) but have not been yet. Chef Lauren Ciaglo is a Rising Star Chef 2014 finalist.

Nothing came up when I searched this Board. The Yelp perspective:

Took a quick look at their menu. The Duck Confit, Kale Salad and Beet Salad; Shrimp Scampi Skillet all sound really good. Pierogi is spelled wrong on the menu and I'm a traditionalist, wouldn't eat nouveau pierogi, especially with sage. Take me to Greenpoint!

Anyone been recently? Your experience?

  1. I ate there back in August, I thought it was quite good. Here is a link to the Trip Advisor page, scroll down to "Excellent Last Minute Choice" - that's my review. BTW, four stars from me is good - I rarely hand out five stars.
