Bun Cha Hanoi and Pho Ga in Eden Center

Kurtis Oct 14, 2013 12:15 PM

Any particular restaurant that specialize or make a good version? Is there a place that better represent Hanoi or northern VN food?

Bay Lo serves Bun Cha Hanoi, which they call Bun Cha Bay Lo. Rice Paper also does Bun Cha Hanoi. Both restaurants are good. Every pho joint does Pho Ga but since I never eat Pho Ga, I can't tell you which one is good. I rarely eat Pho at Eden Center. I tend to stick to bun bo hue, bun rieu, or other noodles soups with more interesting flavor and tidbits.

Bay Lo is indeed my favorite, it may be 'Bay Lo 7 Special' on the menu. Like Worldwide Diner, I haven't had pho ga anywhere.

I think Minh's in Arlington has the definitive version of Bun Cha Hanoi in the area. Good Northern Vietnamese food in general there.
