I found the pizza in Washington program somewhat superficial and outdated by the time it aired. I'll wait until this burger program airs (tonight, 10/15) before commenting on it. Looking at their map, however, I find some unexpected choices: 2941, Eammon's, Ollie's Trolley (really?), Khepra's Raw Food Juice Bar (NutHemp Burgers...). Note that the title is NOT "BEST burgers in Washington."

Totally agree about the pizza show. I'll be watching tonight as being still fairly new to the area, 2013 has been burger research year for my husband and me. The show may determine where we go for Q4 burgers (yeah, I can only justify one per quarter, so not very thorough research, I guess!)

We also limit our burger intake to 3-4 per year so it is critical that the burgers be the best. Which is why it is virtually always Ray's to the Third. Sometimes Palena.

Pretty much lost any credibility by putting Ollies up there. Also Good Stuff Eatery.

I am not sure they are saying these are the best, rather, representative of DC.

        Not very informative, however.
