LOCKED DISCUSSION

Asked on the Vegas board but not getting a lot of answers (3). Going to Vegas for first time in forever, want to eat well but not break the bank. Want to avoid the "name" restaurants on the Strip. Will go to Lotus of Siam, would like the option of an old-school steakhouse vibe, are Golden Steer or the Circus Circus place good? Any and all suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Circus is not that good, if you ask me. If you don't mind a 15-20 drive, go to Bob Taylor's. Mostly locals go there, not too expensive and great steaks....http://www.bobtaylorsranchhouse.com
