Just discovered whole belly fried clams

After dozens of trips to Cape Cod, I tried whole belly clams at Gilbert's in Portland, Me. on Sunday.
I'm hooked. Is this wonderful delicacy available anywhere in the NoVa area?
TIA

Legal Seafood in Arlington has them, too.

    2. Freddy's Lobster & Clams in Bethesda. Blacksalt too.

      1. Passionfish in Reston has them and tosses some fried dill slices into the mix.

        1. Try Fish in the Hood, with bellies, and served in the shell.

I was raised on New England clams, but appreciate DC style, which is a different experience.

I have never seem served in their shell. Interesting, but probably bumps the price without filling YOUR belly.

It's 70¢ a clam. And they are large.

Wow! That's a good deal, I wish I were closer.
