Dublin Dining in Blue Jeans!

tito Oct 7, 2013 02:14 PM

On my first trip to Dublin and we are looking for upscale casual with great food in an atmosphere when jeans and a collared shirt would be the norm.

I am in the food business so I am looking for great food/wine at any price range.

Many thanks in advance!

If you're old enough to call them blue jeans you're cool in blue jeans whatever the situation.

I saw Matt the Thresher on Bourdain's Layover. As I love cold seafood platters, I went there for lunch. I enjoyed the local seafood, which the locals don't seem to eat much.

I think Fallon & Bryne is fairly well known for a good wine selection. There are so many nice places in Dublin. We enjoyed L'Gueuleton quite a bit.

You should be fine almost anywhere in the city dressed like that so just pick wherever you like the look of.
