Water Challah Recipe for the Bread Machine baked overnight!

Yes, I am obsessed. I used the following recipe I found online and loaded my Black and Decker Bread Machine at around 8:30 p.m. We all woke up to the heavenly scent of fresh bread this morning. The crust was hard and brown and the inside was terrific. I plan to do my egg challahs on Thursday and my one water Challah on Friday with the time bake feature. It looks like a loaf of white bread which is fine. The egg challahs will be braided and baked in my oven. The reason I know this is a good recipe is that we had my mother's famous water Challah last night at a family event (my Polish grandmother's recipe) and this one was just as good. This bread machine was a very good 70 dollar investment.

    1 Cup Warm Water
    3 Tablespoons white sugar
    1 - 1/2 teaspoons salt
    3 Tablespoons vegetable oil
    3 Cups Bread Flour
    2 and 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

      Thanks for the follow-up. I've been back and forth about buying a bread machine for years and years. I've got the 5 qt. KitchenAid, but I don't get good results. Your experience has won me over.
