Can I refreeze maranara sauce?

No meat in it, just a couple of servings. Thanks.

  1. yes, no refreezing is a fallacy

    1. Current food science says you should never refreeze anything -- once it's thawed, eat it or pitch it.

There's so many things you can do with marinara that a couple of servings shouldn't be hard to use up -- pizza, soup, pasta, sandwiches, etc., etc, etc

      1. I do. Have you already re-heated it since it was last in the freezer? If not, I reheat to a low boil and than let cool before putting it back in the freezer.

No, but I think I'll be able to use it all. Thanks everyone.
