Where to have a cocktail party in Montreal

tuscansun Oct 6, 2013 05:54 PM

I will be having a party this November (on a Thursday night) with about 30-40 people. I would like to have a cocktail party, preferably in a restaurant where we do not have to sit at a table. I am picturing an elegant setting where we can have a drink and walk around and chat in our own private area. I am not sure if there are restaurants in Montreal that have this option (where you are not stuck sitting at a table). I guess my other option can be to find a location to have this party and get it catered, but I just want this to be as simple as possible. I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

Another option would be Daylight Factory, which used to do these - not sure if they still do.

I have seen such events organized at Pullman - I would check with them.
I had also contacted Philips Lounge for an event once - they have a beautiful room where they can arrange for drinks and food to be served cocktail style. I think you have to spend around $1000 in food and drinks.
