Dinner in Vegas at New years Eve
I am taking an upscale group pf 6 to Vegas during Christmas this year and I need some suggestions for an unforgettable dinner on New years eve.
I am looking for best place of Las Vegas...
Anyway I have no idea what is tipical to do in vegas on this date... I mean if people get together on a place to welcome the year... if there specific traditions to follow... ( In spain we eat grapes...) help me please to arrange something very special
thanks a lot in advance
One thing to take into consideration is that around 5:00pm on New Years Eve the Strip closes to all except for pedestrian traffic. In addition, many of the Strip restaurants up their prices that evening. Most people stay on the Strip. That being said, expect over 100,000 on the Strip that night. Walking the Strip that night will be difficult. Also, the temperatures at night will be right about freezing. There is not a best place to go. What type of food are you looking for? Price? You'll need to make reservations as soon as possible as the City sells out New Years Eve. Last New Years Eve saw 330,000 people from out of town.
Thanks a lot for infos
I thisnk there is not preferred food, but a very special place... maybe with show... i have read about stratosphere restaurant + disco.. it looks goo but i am not sure if this is going to be a overcrowded place...
Whoch would be your choice for upscale dinner + club to celebrate new year??
Everywhere is going to be crowded and very overpriced. As a Las Vegas resident, like many other Las Vegas locals, I avoid going to the Strip, especially on New Years Eve. So, I'm not really able to recommend anything on the Strip. FYI, the Strip is about. 6.5 kilometers long. So, if you go to the Stratosphere, be prepared for a long walk. The Stratosphere is north of the Strip. The low temperature on New Years Eve is one degree Celsius.
Last New Year's Eve I went to Charlie Palmer's Steak at Mandalay Bay. They had a special menu (i.e. NO $45 special) for $100. It was very good if not exactly a bargain.
