Heard about this too late! But they will be back on the 20th. I heard that Smokey Joe's was there as well.

I went!!!! My husband and I shared a brisket sandwich. I honestly didn't have the highest expectations (hence only buying one sandwich and splitting it) but it was MIND BLOWING. I'm still in a brisket daze and can't seem to concentrate on anything else! At $15 a sandwich I'm sort of glad they aren't in the area too often or I would be broke.

I had the brisket sandwich and the chicken sandwich with my husband. The brisket was incredible...a generous portion of the most melt-in-your-mouth delicious meat. Does anyone know if they ever plan on opening a permanent restaurant??

ive asked a couple of times, he says no, but maybe if other people started harassing him :-)

that being said, for me it would not be a good thing, bc id find myself 'coincidentally in the neighborhood' every day

I think he's hit on a genius business model. Sells out his entire stock every Sunday in a different neighborhood.

            Do people know about this?:

I did it in June; I wanted to learn about smoking, but it looked like 90% of the people were there for the buffet. Not too many women, BTW . . . when I arrived, the guy from CKCA said, "Are you ______?," saying my name. I realized it wasn't much of a guess, as there were only a couple of female names on the register!
