Does anyone have any advice? During the day is different story.
My girl is from Detroit and we can't hold a candle to Coney Island but
she is still a dog freak anyway. Help me out here.

Yeah, I saw the subject if this thread just now and said "please don't be the hit dog thread I chimed in in last night"

If you decide to crave during the day hit up Karl's in Peabody for some great house made links.

The Swank family enjoys Top Dog in Rockport for traditionally and weirdly topped dogs! Also Elliot's in Lowell.

I haven't been, and its not at nite for sure, but lots of people rave about Freds Franks, an outdoor stand on the lake in Wakefield.. My hubbie likes the nostalgic flavor of a Kelleys hot dog, and hes a vegetarian! Is Popos still in Swampscott? they were really good..

Just thought of another possibility but don't even know if they have hotdogs or are open at nite! But its right where you live.. Evans Deli in Marblehead has the best corned beef and also salami, tongue, pastrami etc, so if they have hotdogs, they should be really good..

Top Dog in Rockport is my favorite hot dog joint in the area. I love the dogs they use - good snap and garlicy/meaty flavor. I usually get a German Shepherd and one with mac 'n cheese, bacon, and jalepeno's. They have fried clams too - although the breading is kind of thick.
