Wildebeets and shrimpanzees

I haven't seen either the original or the new sequel, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2. But I did see a review on TV which claimed kids will love it and adults will be entertained by the punned names of the "foodimals". The above are the only ones a remember from a long list they rattled off. I'll rent it eventually, to see what these critter/fritters look like.

  1. Lol, I saw the ad for it, with someone shouting, "There's a leak in the boat!" and cutaway to a terrified-looking leek. Right up my alley. :)

    1. We enjoyed the first one for weeks; kept replaying it. The sequel should be a scream.

        1. Just watched it last night. It was quite good. Go see it in the theatres in 3D then wait for DVD or via other sources. Plot is as predictable as it gets, but the content and subject matter is a refreshing change from superheros (esp. rehashed ones from days gone by).

I've not seen the first one yet.
